The patient is a 55-year-old male with a history of hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia.
\nHe reports no pain or discomfort in his extremities.
\nHe denies any numbness or tingling.
\nHe denies any weakness in his extremities.
\nHe has no history of falls or injuries.
\nObjective Data<\/p>\n
The patient’s blood pressure is 140\/90 mmHg.
\nHis pulse rate is 80 beats per minute.
\nHis respiratory rate is 16 breaths per minute.
\nHis temperature is 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit.
\nHis skin is warm and dry.
\nHis capillary refill is less than 2 seconds.
\nThere are no rashes, lesions, or edema.
\nHis muscle strength is 5\/5 throughout.
\nHis reflexes are 2+ throughout.
\nHis gait is steady and unimpaired.

The patient’s peripheral vascular, musculoskeletal, and neurological systems are within normal limits.<\/p>\n

The patient will be monitored for any changes in his peripheral vascular, musculoskeletal, and neurological systems.
\nThe patient will be educated on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise, a healthy diet, and smoking cessation.
