Group Theory Application Assignment \u2013 Paper & Oral Presentation:
\nThe purpose of this project is two-fold: (1) to apply theory to nursing care of patient populations experiencing selected phenomena seen in nursing practice, and (2) to demonstrate information literacy competencies.<\/p>\n
Working in small groups, students will identify a common phenomenon experienced by a patient population. Examples might be grief, anxiety, pain, birth\/delivery, divorce, aging, retirement, cancer, and death. This clinical situation will be the focus of the group theory application project.<\/p>\n
