I choose the tenet of Humanistic Value to apply to my research. In my research, I am investigating the impact of discriminatory hiring practices on African American job seekers.

The Humanistic Value tenet is important in my research because it highlights the need to address systemic injustices that prevent African Americans from accessing employment opportunities. Discriminatory hiring practices such as racial bias, stereotypes, and prejudice contribute to the perpetuation of economic disparities, poverty, and social inequality for African Americans.
