Human organ system
After you have determined your topic (Human organ system), assess the following questions: • Who is the audience that cares about this topic? • What are the specific issues they care about? • What choices, options or trade-offs will they need to consider in order to make a decision (if known)? • What research will you need to examine to address the first three bullet points? • What have you already learned that will help you put the topic together?
As a group you should brainstorm 5-10 key ideas that you think that every person should know about your topic. Once you have a clear view of what you will need to accomplish for this infographic, you need to make sure you group has sufficient and relevant content. Choose at least three key ideas from you lists you created and do some research on these key ideas. Be sure to use reliable sources (Wikipedia is NOT a good source)! Once you have identified your sources read them and prepare an annotated bibliographical entry to each resource. If you are unsure on how to create an annotated bibliography, you can reference the following example: Annotated Bibliography (University of New England). The purpose of an annotated bibliography is to help you think about the relevance and quality of the material on a topic. Does the information meet the requirements of the topic? Is the information from a reliable and academically respected source?
Annotated Bibliography – to check content and validity of your project, without the full annotated bibliography you will not get credit for the assignment. Keep in mind that for distinguished work of research effort a minimum of five references are needed.
