The target group for Certified Emergency Nurses (CEN) that will be trained is a nurse working in the emergency room (ER), a unique ER environment that is fast-paced and demanding. It requires significant skills such as critical thinking, multitasking, and patient safety advocacy.
2. Discuss why this clinical certification was selected in relationship to the selected setting.
However, Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification is the most appropriate expression for emergency room nurses due to its relevance to this job sector’s highly stressful and ever-changing features. For instance, in such a condition, basic skills like effective decision-making, good critical thinking capability, and positive multi-tasking are essential for the nurses, making it possible to uphold the patient’s safety and achieve a positive result.
