This means that individuals should seek to imitate God’s attributes, such as his holiness, love, justice, mercy, truth, and grace. It also means that individuals should seek to do God’s will, which is his good, pleasing, and perfect plan for his creation. To know God’s character and will, individuals need to study his word, the Bible, which is his inspired and authoritative revelation. They also need to pray to him, which is the communication and communion with him. By living a life that reflects God’s character and will, individuals can glorify God, serve others, and fulfill their purpose.
