Purpose of this assignment is to:
Assess Understanding the principles of design for multi-unit restorations

Scenario

A Dentist wishes to produce an all ceramic restoration for a patient and would like a detailed reference as to what is available for patients to display in the surgery reception.
Task 1

In the form of a poster illustration, identify & discuss a selection of all-ceramic restoration systems

Consider:

• Current computer aided design and computer aided manufacture systems, pressable ceramic systems. Spray-on techniques

This provides evidence for P6

Include an evaluation, within the illustration on the suitability of a range of Cad/Cam restoration systems (identified above) as restorative solutions.

Consider:
• Constituents; manufacturing techniques & advantages and disadvantages of each system.

Provide a cost analysis to ascertain the financial viability of utilising Cad/Cam systems
