Regarding the community, school counselors may engage with local organizations, agencies, and community leaders to establish partnerships that provide additional resources and support for students and their families. Week 2 – Discussion 2: Boundaries
Ethical standards play a crucial role in the practice of school counseling. When it comes to boundaries, one specific ethics code that is important to be included in the standards is maintaining confidentiality.

Confidentiality is vital in building trust with students and their families.
