My experience includes working in the nursing industry as a RN and later returned to obtain my bachelors Degree from Chamberlain university in Addison, IL. I am self – driven to complete the program as a Nurse Practitioner.
I am reducing my workload will allow me adequate time to prepare for weekly assignments. In – NURS 6050 (Policy & Advocacy for Population Health) – previous B grade
– NURS 6051 (Transforming Nursing & Healthcare) – previous B grade.

I Lavonda Davison accept responsibility for my current status and I am writing to request more time to work on improving my GPA. I had family issues to include deaths and endured COVID19 during the 2021 term. I wish to take one class at a time as written above. I do believe this will improve and allow me to improve the GPA. I do understand this will not wipe my official record and may require me to explain in the future. I am not wishing to rush to complete my classes but do wish to complete my education. There were times I was not able to focus on my school work.

I will work better with communication to my instructors, and I will use the syllabus for each class. I thought I was able to handle the situations, and I tried my best, but I do acknowledge, I was wrong. I anticipate the ability of success in this journey. I will pass my exams and in order to make this happen, there is an importance for me study daily in addition to reading and rereading.

I love being a student of Walden University, I have communicated with my advisor and thankful for her support. I am determined to graduate.

I started working in the nursing sector as a Registered Nurse (RN). I later advanced my education by pursuing a bachelor’s degree in science nursing from the University of Chamberlain in Addison, Illinois. I am self-motivated to complete the program and become a Nurse Practitioner (NP). I set adequate time for weekly assignments and tests. I scored a B-grade in my past program in both NURS 6050 (Policy & Advocacy for Population Health) and NURS 6051 (Transforming Nursing & Healthcare).
I, Lavonda Davison, accept personal responsibility for my current academic status. I am writing to request more time to improve my GPA. One of the contributing factors is the death of a family member who succumbed to Covid-19 in 2021. The sickness and death were disturbing until I could not concentrate on my school work. I will take one class at a time, as indicated in the guidelines. I believe the approach will improve my GPA. The strategy will lead to completing my education and attaining good grades.
I will enhance my communication with my instructors to boost my grades. I will use the class syllabus to achieve all the set milestones in the coursework. The efforts will address past mistakes of preparing poorly for the class assignments and exams. In addition to the weekly test and discussions, I will strive to read a portion of the assigned class book daily. I will read other journals and take tests to assess my understanding regularly.
I love being a student at Walden University. I pride myself on the quality of education and my passion for giving students opportunities to excel. I have communicated with my advisor, and I am thankful for the support. I am determined to complete all the classes and graduate with an A-grade. I will appreciate a consideration of this appeal.
